A 53-year-old man was seriously injured in a farming accident in Hustisford, requiring emergency airlift to a hospital. The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office reported that the incident occurred Saturday, near W5195 State Highway 60 where the man became trapped under a skid steer.
Despite the immediate danger, local fire departments responded swiftly to extricate the victim. The “Hustisford Fire Department, Iron Ridge Fire Department, Neosho Fire Department and Hartford paramedics also helped the sheriff’s office,” WISN reported. After being freed, the injured man was flown to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. There was no delay in the response after the call came in. The sheriff’s office and fire departments provided immediate assistance at the scene off State Highway 60 near County Highway DJ, as stated in FOX6 News. This effort undoubtedly aimed to increase the man’s chances for survival.
