Firefighters know how to use many tools, itโs part of the job; however, a Lieutenant in Wisconsin takes his skills to another level when heโs not fighting fires. Lieutenant Patnode with the Wauwatosa Fire Department is an artist, and creates art pieces out of woodโusing a chainsaw. Wauwatosaโs Firefly Grove Park is the newest playground in town, and Lt. Patnodeโs newest piece of art is a park bench that showcases the new spot. The new playground includes plenty of equipment, but the new bench showcased not only Lt. Patnodeโs craftsmanship but also a look into his daily life outside of serving the community.
