PHOTOS: A dog was killed and residents were displaced as a result of a house fire in Two Rivers. Just before 3:40 p.m. Monday, the Two Rivers fire and police departments responded to a structure fire at a residence located at 1117 35th Street.
Upon arrival at the scene, heavy smoke and flames were visible from the front portion of the home’s second story. Firefighters initiated an aggressive interior attack and the blaze was quickly controlled. No injuries to civilians or crew members were reported. However, one dog died in the fire. The American Red Cross is assisting the displaced residents. An investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing.
