Crews responded to an overturned semi on I-90 early Thursday morning. According to the Sparta Fire chief, they responded to the overturned semi-tanker truck just after midnight on I-90 eastbound. The truck had rolled over into the median, trapping the driver inside.
Crews removed the driver, who suffered minor injuries, according to the fire department. The truck was reportedly leaking diesel fuel and milk, per the release. Several agencies responded along with the Sparta Fire Department, including Wisconsin State Patrol and the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.
