VIDEO/PHOTOS: The White Sage Fire, burning in northern Arizona near the destructive Dragon Bravo Fire, continues to grow with evacuations still in place. It’s burning near Jacob Lake and Fredonia, near U.S. Highway 89A. The White Sage Fire, believed to have been caused by lightning on July 9, is estimated to be nearly 52,000 acres with 0% containment, according to the National Interagency Fire Center on Tuesday morning. The fire is burning north of the Dragon Bravo Fire. Evacuations have been ordered for the area north of Jacob Lake, in northern Arizona, due to the White Sage Fire. Jacob Lake is located southeast of Fredonia along U.S. Highway 89A. The Dragon Bravo Fire, which started on July 4, is burning south of the White Sage Fire area. It has been reported that dozens of structures have been lost in the fire, including NPS administrative buildings and visitor facilities. No injuries or deaths have been reported, and all staff and residents were successfully evacuated prior to the fireโs escalation.
