Mistletoe Fire burns 523 acres in Texas, now fully contained

VIDEO: The grass fire that broke out on Christmas Day is now 100% contained, according to the Texas A&M Forest Service.

The fire burned 523 acres in Randall County.

Multiple agencies responded to a grass fire burning southeast of Loop 335.

The Amarillo Fire Department says crews were dispatched to a grass fire near FM 1258 (Pullman Road) and FM 1151 (Claude Highway).

Officials say no injuries or property damage have been reported.

Agencies responding include the Randall County Fire Department, Amarillo Fire Department, Potter County Fire Department, Armstrong County Fire Department, Texas A&M Forest Service and TIFMAS, Lake Tanglewood Fire Department, Palisades Fire Department, and Timbercreek Fire Department.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
