VIDEO: One person was injured while escaping a house fire in Huntington Tuesday morning.
Just after 5 a.m., the Huntington Fire Department and Huntington EMS responded to a fire that broke out in a home on 17th Street and 9th Avenue, Huntington Fire Chief Greg Fuller says.
Fuller says two people were in the home when it caught fire, and that an older man jumped from the second-story window to escape the flames. He was taken to a local hospital for medical treatment.
The second occupant was able to escape the home without injury, Fuller says.
