VIDEO/PHOTOS: The West Virginia Fire Marshal’s Office and a West Virginia Medical Examiner were called to the scene of a house fire in Mount Clare on Saturday. Information is limited at this time, but the Harrison County 911 log shows that a structure fire on Jerome Avenue was reported just after 2 p.m. Saturday afternoon. 12 News spoke to a Harrison County 911 official who confirmed that it was a residence on fire, but could not confirm if anyone was trapped in the home at that time. The 911 log was later updated to show that the West Virginia Fire Marshal’s Office was alerted to the incident, along with a West Virginia Medical Examiner. The Lost Creek, Mount Clare, Nutter Fort, Reynoldsville and West Milford Fire Departments, along with the Harrison County Office of Emergency Management, Sheriff’s Office and EMS also responded to the scene.
