A woman and child died in a house fire that was reported in Wyoming County on Thursday, October 30, 2025.
According to the Office of the State Fire Marshal, the fire happened around 1:30 AM on Thursday, October 30, 2025 at a home on Roman Road in Oceana.
During the investigation, a woman and child were found dead in the home. The names of the woman and child were not released in the press release.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation. The victims’ bodies were sent to the State Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy and positive identification.
