Crews responded to a fire in the West Side area of Kanawha County on Tuesday morning.
According to the West Side Volunteer Fire Department, a fire broke out just before 9:30 a.m. in the area of Birch Street and Valley Street.
Crews say it began as an exterior fire on the side of the building that spread into the basement.
The initial call came in with reports of entrapment, but crews say everyone was able to get out of the home. No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is unknown and remains under investigation.
