VIDEO: Emergency crews were on scene Tuesday morning at a construction site in Woodland where a piece of construction equipment fell on a worker.
It happened near Lewis River Road and Insel Road, according to Cowlitz Fire & Rescue. The worker was reportedly inside a 15-foot-deep trench when a heavy piece of equipment fell on him. We are still waiting to hear about the extent of the injuries. They were pulled from the hole and loaded on a medical helicopter to take them to a local hospital. The Portland Trench Rescue Team was also on the scene.
