VIDEO: Four people have been displaced after a house fire Friday morning on Estates Drive in Virginia Beach.
The fire in the Great Neck area was reported at 11:53 a.m., according to the Virginia Beach Fire Department. Crews arrived at 12:02 p.m. to find heavy smoke and flames showing from the garage of the two-story residential structure.
A WAVY viewer captured a video of a large plume of black smoke and heavy fire coming from the house.
Crews had water on the fire at 12:06 p.m., marked it under control at 12:19 and marked it out at 1:47 p.m.
Officials say the origin of the fire was the attached garage. There were no injuries reported to civilians, firefighters or pets.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
