PHOTOS: On Monday, October 21, the Galax Fire Department responded to a house fire that had spread into a brush fire.
According to officials, they responded to the 1400 block of Pot Rock Road to find a house fully engulfed in flames, which caused the spreading brush fire.
Crews asked for assistance from the Hillsville Fire Department.
Officials say they were able to bring the brush fire and then the structure fire under control.
There were no injuries reported.
The fire is under investigation by the Carroll County Sheriffโs Office.
