Fire crews in Chesapeake quickly brought an early morning blaze under control after two sheds caught fire in the Great Bridge area.
According to the Chesapeake Fire Department, dispatchers received reports of a fire in the 400 block of Bartell Drive shortly after 5 a.m. Monday.
Engine Company 5 arrived on scene at 5:13 a.m. to find two small sheds fully involved in flames. Firefighters deployed hoselines and had both fires extinguished by 5:25 a.m.
Officials say quick action by crews prevented the fire from spreading to nearby structures. No injuries were reported, and investigators determined the cause of the fire to be accidental.
