Fire crews responded to a commercial structure fire Tuesday morning at Rocco’s Smokehouse Grill, according to the York County Department of Fire and Life Safety. The fire happened around 7:15 a.m. in the 200 block of Bypass Road. When crews arrived, they found smoke coming from the back of the building and quickly located and extinguished the fire inside. According to officials, a restaurant employee had safely escaped the restaurant before firefighters arrived and called to report the fire. No other employees were there at the time of the fire, and the restaurant was not open to customers at the time. No one was injured. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
