VIDEO/PHOTOS: The Utah County Sheriff’s Office released a video that showed crews responding to the scene of a massive apartment fire. The first video captured Unified Fire Authority arriving at the scene. The second video was from the perspective of a patrol sergeant. The fire, which started just after 1 a.m. on Aug. 26, left one person hospitalized. Six deputies with the Utah County Sheriff’s Office were also treated on scene for smoke inhalation as they went door to door evacuating the building. The third floor of the 12-unit apartment building was destroyed in the fire. Everything beneath the third floor suffered significant water damage. “We are extremely proud of all of our Deputies that ran into harm’s way to help evacuate the area and of all of the First Responder efforts in responding to the fire,” the sheriff’s office said.
