PHOTOS: Firefighters from multiple agencies responded to a field fire in Tooele Saturday afternoon. In a Facebook post by Tooele City Fire Department, firefighters were called out to the area of 1266 North Main Street on Saturday afternoon after multiple 911 calls were made regarding a field fire.
When firefighters arrived, they found high winds spreading a field fire at a fast pace toward both the Air Med base and the Our House assisted living facility. Firefighters were able to quickly knock the fire down before it was able to reach any structures.
Units from Tooele City Fire Department, North Tooele Fire Department and the Tooele County Fire Department all responded to the scene. The fire burned 22 acres in total. No injuries were reported.
