VIDEO/PHOTOS: A small plane caught on fire at the Provo Airport Monday afternoon, shutting down the airport until the investigation is complete. Janna-Lee Holland with the Provo Police Department confirmed to ABC4 that the plane caught on fire while in the air, that it landed at Provo Airport, and that the fire has since been put out.

Holland also stated that there were no fatalities, but there were some injuries, though the number and severity of injuries is still unknown at this point. One person was transported to Utah Valley Hospital.

Holland stated that just before 3:30 p.m., they were notified of a small aircraft coming in to land at the airport with a fire, but they donโ€™t know what part of the plane was on fire at this time. There were four people on board, and all four exited the plane. The fire was extinguished by fire personnel at the airport.
