VIDEO/PHOTOS: A brush fire started in the hills above the University of Utah campus early Tuesday morning. The smoke and a red glow from the fire can be seen from a distance from the university campus but becomes harder to see closer to the university. Fire officials said the flames are burning in Dry Creek, about two miles into the canyon northeast of the University of Utah. State firefighters have taken command of the response and are working to contain to the blaze. It is unclear what sparked the fire. However, officials said the flames have spread roughly 10 to 20 acres since starting. There are currently no structures threatened by the flames. Multiple ground and air resources have responded to the scene.
