PHOTOS: The Gap Fire, located about seven miles east of Scipio along Highway 50, is estimated at 250 acres. Federal and local fire crews were at the scene, and air resources have been ordered. The Millard County Sheriff’s Office said the highway was closed. Officials asked the public to stay clear of the area and use an alternate route if possible. The cause is under investigation.
