VIDEO/PHOTOS: Multiple families are without a home following a fire early Saturday morning in Shallowater. Shallowater Fire reported the call came in before 12:30 a.m.
Julie Castaneda was nearby and heard several loud booms then saw a large fireball burning at the Shallowater Mobile Home and RV Park just off of U.S. 84, in northwestern Lubbock County.
Multiple departments responded, including Shallowater and West Carlisle fire departments, along with Shallowater police and EMS. Neighbors were evacuated. No injuries have been reported.
Two RVs burned to the ground, another RV was damaged. A cause of the fire has not yet been announced.
