Man Hospitalized After San Antonio Firefighters Extricate Him From Vehicle Post-Crash

Early Monday morning, a single-car accident on the North Side of San Antonio resulted in a dramatic rescue operation. According to FOX San Antonio, the accident, which involved a man whose legs were pinned under the dashboard, occurred around 2:30 a.m. on Cincinnati Avenue near Interstate 10. San Antonio Fire Department crews had to cut the roof off the vehicle to free the man, who was subsequently hospitalized.

The 30-year-old driver, whose name has not been released, was alone in the vehicle when he crashed into a barrier near the highway, “said to be pinning” his legs beneath the dashboard. The exact sequence of the crash and the factors contributing to the incident are currently under investigation by authorities.
