Kyle Fire Department prepares for high fire risk

VIDEO: The Hays County Office of Emergency Services said the county is now under a red flag warning on Wednesday from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. It might feel a bit like dรฉjร  vu, because they had the same warning last week. In anticipation of gusty winds and low humidity, the Kyle Fire Department spent part of Tuesday making sure their equipment was working for any potential fires. โ€œThe fire danger is high once again and it’s supposed to continue throughout the week and from what weโ€™re hearing, next week as well,โ€ said Kyle Fire Chief Kyle Taylor. โ€œLast year, we didnโ€™t have the wildfire season like weโ€™re seeing already starting.โ€ Taylor told KXAN heโ€™s increasing crews. A week ago, they experienced a similar situation. Kyle Fire responded to the Onion Creek Fire.
