A structure fire was reported at 5:31 p.m. in the 11600 block of Texas Highway 36, just outside of Temple. The Bell County Sheriff’s Office assisted multiple fire departments, including Moffat, Morgans Point Resort, Troy, and Temple, in managing the blaze.
On October 29, 2025, at 5:32 p.m., Morgan’s Point Resort Fire-Rescue was dispatched to aid the Moffat Volunteer Fire Department with a structure fire in the 11000 block of Highway 36. The dispatch indicated a single-story structure with visible smoke and flames, and individuals were seen exiting the home.
Morgan’s Point Resort Fire-Rescue responded with Engine 61, Brush 61, and four firefighters. Upon arrival, Engine 61 encountered a fully involved single-story wood structure and initiated defensive firefighting efforts.
