El Paso celebrates reopening of revamped fire station No. 15 after $2.5M renovation

PHOTOS: The City of El Paso hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony Tuesday morning for the newly renovated fire station in the Upper Valley. Fire Station No. 15, located at 115 Shorty Lane, near Doniphan Drive and Mesa Street, got a $2.5 million facelift, according to the City, adding that the station got new doors, windows, kitchen furnishing, flooring, upgraded lighting, plumbing fixtures and mechanical systems. The project was funded by the voter-approved 2019 Public Safety Bond, which was meant to enhance emergency services and public safety facilities.
