VIDEO: A large fire was sending smoke into the sky Wednesday afternoon. A garage was on fire at Mykawa Road, just south of the south loop. The fire was first reported at about 4 p.m. About ten firetrucks responded to the fire to put out the flames. They were fighting the fire defensively.
So far, no one was reported injured in the fire and no one was taken to the hospital. Air 11 was over the scene and showed a commercial building with flames shooting out of the roof. A firetruck with a ladder was spraying water from the top as others sprayed from the ground.
