Authorities determine deadly Dallas RV fire that killed elderly woman, dog was intentionally set

VIDEO: An elderly woman and dog were killed in an RV fire that officials said was intentionally set. Firefighters responded around 6:21 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 19, to a home in the Casa View neighborhood of east Dallas in the 10300 block of Eastwood Drive, according to a press release from Dallas-Fire Rescue.

When firefighters arrived, they found heavy fire coming from an RV parked next to a single-story home, officials said. Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the flames, which consumed the RV and damaged the adjacent home, the release stated.

An elderly woman, identified by her partner, Kline Casburn, as Leslie Morrow, and a dog were found dead inside the RV, officials said.
