The Austin Fire Department said a fire was out after crews responded to a report of a structure fire in southeast Austin Monday. No injuries were reported, according to AFD. The agency said on social media around 7 p.m. it responded to the 7800 block of Burleson Road for a report of โblack smoke coming fromโ the structure. When units arrived on the scene, they initially reported it was a โresidential structure on fire and residents evacuating.โ Around 7:30 p.m., AFD said the fire was knocked down, and it conducted โmultiple searches of the residenceโ and did not find anything. Crews continued searching for โany additional fireโ and said it was โventilating the structure.โ
