VIDEO: One person died Thursday in a Clarkrange house fire, officials in Fentress County announced. Emergency crews responded to reports of a residential fire with someone possibly trapped inside at 1659 Shaver Road just after 5 a.m. on Thursday.
The home was found engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived. One person was killed in the blaze. A joint release from the Fentress County Fire Department and Fentress County Sheriffโs Office said their identity is being withheld until next of kin is notified.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and Fentress County Sheriffโs Office are investigating the cause of the fire.
