No injuries following structure fire on Highway 107 in Washington County

VIDEO/PHOTOS: No injuries were reported following a structure fire on Highway 107 in Washington County, Tennessee, Friday night, according to the Limestone Volunteer Fire Department.

A post by the fire department said its crews, along with the Nolichuckey Valley Volunteer Fire Department and the Embreeville Volunteer Fire Department, were called out to a reported structure fire at around 11:40 p.m. on Highway 107. “Initial reports were the structure was a long distance off the road and was well involved with fire,” the post states. “Upon arrival of first units, it was confirmed heavy fire throughout the structure with the roof already collapsing.”

The post said that due to summer temperatures and a need for extra personnel, the Tusculum Volunteer Fire Department was called to assist while crews worked to extinguish the fire. The Limestone VFD said no injuries were sustained. The post said nobody was at the home when the fire started.
