Linden home destroyed in fire

VIDEO/PHOTOS: A home was destroyed in an early morning fire, according to the Perry County Rescue Squad. Crews responded to a structure fire on Highway 412 E just after 5 a.m. on Sunday.

The home was fully engulfed in flames as crews arrived and fought the blaze. PCRS said the family who owned the residence was out of town at the time of the fire, so no one was home. They have been notified of the fire. No injuries were reported in the fire. The Linden Fire Department, Perry County Sheriff’s Department, MLEC, and the Town of Linden Utilities also responded to the scene. The cause of the fire is unknown.
