Firefighter injured while extinguishing huge fire at steel mill in Jackson, officials say

A firefighter was injured while working a huge fire at a steel mill in Jackson, Tennessee, on Saturday night, the Madison County Fire & Rescue said. Fire crews responded to a fire on Gerdau Drive at 7:35 p.m. According to Madison County Fire & Rescue, a firefighter suffered from an injury, and other firefighters received IVs for dehydration. The fire was described as intense, with challenging blazes at the Gerdau Steel Mill. Crews battled the fire until 7:25 a.m. on Sunday morning.
