Crews with the Wessington Springs Fire Department responded to a report of a fire at Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Wessington Springs on Friday. According to reporting from True Dakotan, crews were dispatched to the scene around 9:03 am on Friday, December 26.
Photos sent in to Dakota News Now show smoke billowing out of the building. The church later posted a video from inside the church, showing the destruction of the blaze. The fire is still under investigation.
