Aberdeen roads were blocked Wednesday afternoon after a grass fire broke out. Roads were reopened later in the evening. According to a post on Facebook, parts of 135th Street and South Dakota Street/388th Avenue are blocked because of a fire.
The grass fire was reported around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Aberdeen Police Department gun range. The fire started during grounds maintenance on accident and spread quickly because of the windy conditions and dry foliage. Aberdeen Fire Rescue, Aberdeen Rural Fire Department, and Warner Fire Department responded to the fire.
