A quick response by Rapid City firefighters keeps a vehicle fire from spreading to a home. Around 8:30 Monday morning a plume of smoke was visible across much of the city.

Rapid City’s Legal & Finance Committee acknowledged 15 consent items at Wednesday’s meeting including an approval for the Rapid City Fire Department to accept a $44,000 grant.
