Rescue crews contain car fire on I-95 in Florence County

VIDEO: A video shows rescue crews putting out a car fire on Interstate 95 in Florence County on Sunday night.

Florence County Fire Rescue was dispatched around 8:10 p.m. to I-95 at the 160-mile marker regarding a vehicle fire.

Crews were able to locate the car upon arrival and quickly put out the fire, FCFR said.

According to Florence County Fire Rescue, both people in the car were able to exit safely before rescue crews arrived on the scene, and no one was hurt in the fire.

South Carolina Highway Patrol assisted on the scene.
