Horry County Fire Rescue (HCFR) has announced a record-breaking year, handling 90,281 dispatched emergency calls in 2025, surpassing the previous year’s record of 83,208.
HCFR said the increase in call volume reflects the county’s ongoing growth and the expanding demand for emergency services.
Horry County 911 processed all calls, and HCFR expressed gratitude to its frontline and support personnel for their hard work and dedication to public service. They also thanked the public for their trust, committing to maintain high standards of care and response.
