A firefighter is being treated at a Georgia burn center after being injured in a house fire Monday morning in Laurens County.
The Clinton Fire Department said firefighters responded to a home on North Marion Street in Joanna at 7:41 a.m. Monday.
A firefighter on scene sustained burns and was taken to a local hospital for assessment before being taken by his family to the Augusta Burn Center for treatment, according to the department.
The name of the injured firefighter will not be released until more information is given about his condition.
