PHOTOS: Fire crews in Darlington County were on the scene of a reported building fire. West Florence Fire-Rescue said it was assisting the Darlington County Fire Department with a large structure fire on Pocket Road near the Charleston Highway. The agency said their Tanker 246 and Tanker 236 were on scene, providing manpower and supporting water supply operations. The Darlington County Sheriff’s Department later revealed the building to be Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
