The house sustained moderate damage and is currently uninhabitable, but officials said the homeowners do have a place to stay in the meantime.
Crews extinguished a fire that broke out at Precious Blood Parish in Woonsocket. Firefighters responded to the scene on Carrington Avenue around 7:45 a.m.

The department says overheated forklift batteries that were still charging created an irritant and carbon monoxide.
