Eleven people were forced from their home after a fire broke out in Providence Saturday afternoon. Battalion Chief Brian Belhumeur said just after 5 p.m. crews responding to Douglas Avenue were met with heavy flames from outside of a three-story home that were extending to another. The home that flames extended to only sustained exterior damage, according to Belhumeur, while the other one isnโt habitable for the time being. Nobody suffered any injuries. No word yet on what caused the fire, which is under investigation.
