Strategic Prevention Partnerships in Portsmouth will receive a grant to help firefighters, EMTs and police officers overcome trauma-related anxiety, PTSD and depression.

Firefighters responded to the intersection of Governor Street and Angell Street at 7 p.m. for a fire.

The house sustained moderate damage and is currently uninhabitable, but officials said the homeowners do have a place to stay in the meantime.

The department says overheated forklift batteries that were still charging created an irritant and carbon monoxide.

Officials said they responded to a fire at 7:30 p.m. on Stiness Drive. Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the flames.
