VIDEO/PHOTOS: One person was killed, and another was flown via air medical after a Wednesday evening house fire in Perry County. According to Pennsylvania State Police, multiple crews from Perry and Cumberland Counties responded to the scene of a house fire in the First block of Barrick Hill Road, Carroll Township, at 7:19 p.m. Police said reports advised that two occupants were possibly trapped.
One person was identified outside the residence and flown to Lehigh Valley Hospital for treatment. The Second occupant was found dead inside the residence. One dog was also rescued. The injured victim’s current condition is unknown. The Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal Unit and the PSP Troop H Crime Unit are investigating the cause of the fire.
