PHOTOS: Rescue crews were able to quickly spring into action and pull a man free who had his arm stuck in farming machinery in Lancaster County on Thursday morning.

A post on Facebook by Robert Fulton Fire Company shows that the farming rescue happened in the 1700 block of Cherry Hill Road in Drumore Township a little after 9 a.m.

It was reported to responding crews by Lancaster County Wide Communications that there was a man who had his arm trapped in a two-row horse-drawn corn picker, according to a post from Quarryville Fire Company.

โ€œOn arrival, the rescue crew set up for a torch cutting operation,โ€ Quarryville Fire Company wrote in a Facebook post. โ€œAfter evaluation, we opted to use the porta-band saw and an angle grinder to remove a portion picker head to move the snapping roll to release the patientโ€™s hand.โ€
