Heavy flames leap from large barn in Cumberland County

VIDEO/PHOTOS: Crews battled a fully engulfed barn fire in Cumberland County Thursday afternoon, according to emergency dispatch. A barn in the 2600 block of Walnut Bottom Road in Penn Township went up in flames around 12:50 p.m. A News 8 viewer shared a video of flames shooting from the building. Fire crews shut down Walnut Bottom Road as they worked to contain the blaze. The road has since reopened. Dispatch said they are not aware of any injuries. At this time, it’s unclear what caused the fire.
