VIDEO: Fire destroyed a home in Scranton’s west side late Thursday night. Crews responded to the home along 17th Avenue around 11 p.m. One person was inside at the time; they were taken to the hospital. There is no word on their condition. Flames also jumped to a neighboring home. Officials say everyone there made it out okay. Investigators are searching for the cause of the blaze in Scranton.
