VIDEO/PHOTOS: Four people, including a one-year-old, are dead after a Sunday morning house fire in Lebanon, officials said.
Mayor Sherry Capello said in a Facebook post the victims included the one-year-old, a four-year-old, a 17-year-old, and a 73-year-old.
The mayor said the fire started from an electrical outlet in the first-floor living room and was ruled accidental. The Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal is still investigating.
There were ten people inside the house when the fire started around 8:40 a.m., with several guests visiting for a birthday celebration, according to the mayor.
Three people were injured in the fire and transported to WellSpan/Good Samaritan Hospital, the mayor said. The other four people in the home had minor injuries.
Firefighters from nearly a dozen different companies responded to the fire. Lebanon Fire Chief Aaron Sweitzer said crews tried to fight it from the inside, but were forced to evacuate as the flames were too intense.
