PHOTOS: Firefighters responded to a two-alarm barn fire in Strasburg, Lancaster County, on Wednesday morning around 11:30 a.m. The Strasburg Fire Company was working to put out the fire Wednesday afternoon at 412 North Jackson Street. It’s not clear how the fire started or whether anyone was inside the barn.
A photo obtained by FOX43, taken by Matthew Eberly, showed a ladder truck positioned next to a barn engulfed in flames, with black smoke filling the sky above. Reports to first responders indicated propane tanks were also going off. Strasburg Borough Police Department warned residents that the water in the area might be “discolored” because fire companies are using the hydrants nearby to put out the barn fire.
