Two people were sent to the hospital after a late-night Tamaqua fire on Monday.
Officials say crews were called at about 10:30 p.m. to the 100 block of Pine Street in Tamaqua for a reported structure fire.
The Tamaqua and Coaldale Fire Departments, along with other departments, responded to the blaze, Schuylkill County officials say.
Authorities confirmed with 28/22 News that two people were taken to a nearby hospital. Itโs unknown at this time the severity of their injuries.
Officials explained that crews were still on scene as of 11:00 p.m. and the fire was under control.
There is no word on what caused the fire. A state police fire marshal will be called in to investigate.
