Medford Fire Department theft suspect indicted on multiple charges

A man accused of stealing equipment from the Medford Fire Department has been formally indicted on multiple theft and burglary charges, the Jackson County District Attorney’s Office announced Tuesday, December 2. A Jackson County Grand Jury indicted Christian Tommis Jacobson, 32, on eight total charges, including aggravated theft, first-degree theft, and several counts of second-degree burglary.

The charges stem from an investigation into a series of reported equipment thefts from Medford Fire Department property. This indictment follows Jacobson’s arrest last week, you can find the previous article here. Prosecutors say the indictment has been filed with Jackson County Circuit Court. Jacobson remains in the Jackson County Jail on $25,000 bail. His next court appearance, an arraignment on the indictment, will be scheduled by the court.
